Skin Penetration Legislation

It is fundemental that nail technicians practice the correct hygiene and safety practices when performing both manicures and pedicures. The Skin Penetration Legislation covers a range of issues such as personal hygiene, the cleaning and sterilisation of equipment, work environment safety, chemical storage, waste management, skin disinfectants, and bleeding management. Each state in Australia has guidelines that professional nail technicians are legally required to follow.
