Ideas Please

Postby tiamaria » Thu Apr 14, 2011 10:43 am

Hi everyone,
I'd like to keep each of my clients brush & files in individual "containers". Can you give me suggestions on what to use & where to get them please. Also do you charge the client a one off cost for it, if so how much?
Thanks in advance. J :)

I use the snap lock Glad sandwhich bags. Takes up less room than a container would in my already cramped draws

I use toothbrush holders, but take your file when you go to the shops because some are quite small and the files wont fit. I bought a bulk lot from cheep as chips for like 50c each. Also make sure your files are dry before you store them for next time.

Well i love it when i hear that a nail tech keeps her files seperate for her clients, i do the same. I keep them in sandwich bags like Kasha, i buy the ones with the white strip so you can write your clients name on them, i then put them into a office file binder you know the ones that look like a small case. that way i am not hunting thu a heap of them looking for my clients name. i can go straight to it. and i can tell you all of my new clients are so happy when they see me put their file away like that, they love it.
As for the brush, i have about eight or so and at the end of each day i wash them all in sanitiser.
hope this helps xxxxx :D

Thanks so much Ladies,
They are gret ideas. Loved the sandwhich bag idea, that was very resourceful I thought! :D
I was wondering about storing them too, because I keep individual client cards & want to file them (files & cards) together, so I really like & the file idea. It just steps it up another level I think.
Thanks again & have a good weekend. J :D

That is a great idea, but just be careful with sealing them in an airtight bag as it encourages bacterial growth, especially if there is still a slight bit of moisture. Even an envelope will do the trick, and will let air flow and moisture to escape. :-)
