Almost exactly how i do it, i bring down the bulky part of the nail with the e-file all over first, then do the new smile with the e-file, pretty much the same just a tad different...

Thanks for the tute, Mel! Very easy to follow, just need to refine my e-filing skills...I'm still a bit scared of the thing

Tell me, what do you use to adhere your diamantes? I've both glued and freeze-cured them into gel...but no way are they going to be there when the client comes back in three weeks!

Ok.. I cap the nail in clear gel..... ( IBD) place my diamantes where they need to go... slippery little suckers.... then cure for full time.
then i dip my gel brush into the gel and lift it straight out quickly. it leaves a tail of gel.. then i pass it over where the diamantes are.... then i get my client to turn her hands over and let the gel "run" self level to where the Diamantes are... then turn it back over and cure for full time again... wipe off the tacky layer and your done...

Fantastic, thanks! Do you find that using gel over the diamantes dulls their shine?

No i dont at all... I bought these ones from....hmmmmmmm not sure... ebay maybe?? been a while..... $1 a pack..
the clear gel sort of just runs over and aroudn them... a little like setting a diamond in a claw setting.... the gel is so shiny that it looks fine.
